I am not dead, nor have I been kidnapped.

I know I have not posted in a long time. I have been doing some work on the EV, but not enough to show.

I have researched the paint. I want to use a bright metallic green. The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro came in a limited edition color called "Synergy Green", as shown above. I have seen these cars in person, and they are BRIGHT. My friendly local paint supplier informed me that this paint is $700 per gallon. That's just the paint, there is still reducer, clear, activator, primer, primer thinner, etc. That is not a typo, $700.

Just by luck, we found another stock color that is nearly the same. It is a Mazda green, but it is not available on USA cars. So we can get it, but that explains why I have never seen it around.
$150 per gallon. That's more like it. It's not unlike my Kawasaki too, come to think of it.

Incidentally, THIS (above) is what the original EV project was going to look like. Bright green, even has the correct S200 wheels on it. Lowered to barely off the ground. Could it BE any cooler than this? I don't think so. Found the pic on the net.

All photos: the net, don't remember exact sources.
